Devin Royer
Devin Royer was a spectacular member of our Camp Discovery family. He was kind, passionate and full of life. With his smile he would light up a crowd and was always there to support his friends.
It seems so recently that any one of us could have been on the dance floor and he was teaching us a move. Devin was an impressionist and a jokester and would often entertain those around him. He remained close to many throughout the year and it has been hard not to speak with him. For some he has been there since the beginning and others have only known him a year, to all of us he was our friend.
It is in Devin’s memory that we celebrate life. He would have liked to see us living to our fullest potential, like he so often did. We will all miss our friend, but he will never be forgotten and his spirit will live in us.
